Interlink’s Hill named NNA rep to Mailers Technical Advisory Committee

February 2, 2012

BERRIEN SPRINGS, MI—Brad Hill, the general manager at Interlink Software, has been appointed to one of two NNA positions on the Postmaster General’s Mailers Technical Advisory Committee by NNA President Reed Anfinson, starting in February 2012.
Each mailing association is allowed two seats from the industry it serves on MTAC, and an association executive seat. Tonda Rush holds the executive spot, and Max Heath has held one of two seats on MTAC since 1989. Chris Fimmano of Dolan Media has held the second seat for the past decade. He stepped aside to allow NNA to appoint a rep who can devote more time to NNA representation.
“NNA thanks Fimmano for his years of service, and welcomes Brad to the second industry seat. We look forward to his contributions as he uses his knowledge of newspaper needs to save money and improve delivery,” said Anfinson.
Interlink, a Michigan-based independent software and service company focuses on meeting the needs of community newspapers in the areas of circulation, delivery and ad management. Initially hired as a network engineer, Hill’s 10 years with the company have seen him in a number of roles including project management, product development, customer service and sales and marketing.
For the past seven years, Hill has worked closely with Interlink’s developers on postal presort logic, address sequencing systems and integrating various USPS services. In 2010, he was invited as a non-member to a MTAC workgroup tasked with creating recommendations for automating postal certifications and increasing adoption of electronic documentation submission. Brad frequently liaises between mailers and the post office on disputes and matters of acceptance.
Before joining Interlink, Hill was the network administrator for a private school in Chattanooga, TN, where he oversaw campus servers and networking.
