Hurricane relief for New Jersey newspapers

Nov 7, 2012

The New Jersey Press Foundation has launched a fundraising drive for New Jersey publishers affected by Hurricane Sandy and has asked NNA and other press associations to issue the call for donations to directly aid newspaper people in the affected area.

"Newspapers across our state face severe damage to their offices and loss of equipment," the NJPF call says. "Some newspaper employees have lost homes and personal belongings or suffered major damage. Despite this, they have produced outstanding hurricane coverage." To donate, go here.
