Individual membership application

Retired newspaper owners and publishers and journalism professors may join as individual members of NNA. Other individuals interested in the newspaper profession may join as individual members provided that they are not a full-time employee or owner of a newspaper or periodical that is eligible for membership in the association.

Individual members receive a subscription to Publishers’ Auxiliary (including Electronic Publishers' Auxiliary) and discounts on association publications and conferences. Individual members are not eligible for corporate benefits such as libel or health insurance. This is a non-voting membership.

Individual membership fees

• Journalism professor: $95
• Retired publisher/owner: $50
• Active journalism student: $50
