Promoting news literacy, protecting the First Amendment
and enhancing the capabilities of community newspapers
The National Newspaper Association Foundation will spend the next year focused on ways in which we can raise the public’s awareness of the essential role community newspapers play in educating everyone so they can make informed decisions.
Tabitha Schoenwald of Waltner Media + Studios/Freeman (South Dakota) Courier has designed the new logos for the National Newspaper Association Foundation and a combined logo for the NNAF and the NNA.
Matt Adelman and Reed Anfinson jointly announced in June that task forces formed from the two organizations’ executive committees were working on a plan to enhance NNAF’s ability to serve the interests of community journalism and to sharpen NNA’s focus on member relations and public policy.
